Do you renovate bathrooms in addition to basements?
Yes. Basic refresh (vanity, toilet, fixtures): $5K–$10K, done in under a week. Full gut-and-rebuild with new tile, waterproofing, and shower: $15K–$35K+, 1–3 weeks. Basement bathrooms are also part of most of our secondary suite builds.
Can a finished basement increase my home's value?
A permitted, income-generating basement suite adds $75K–$150K to a Kitchener-Waterloo appraisal, on top of $1,400–$1,800/month in rental income. Unpermitted work adds nothing appraisers or lenders will credit, and can trigger a hold-back at closing. If value is the goal, do it legally.
